Combat fitness course

There will be a Hand 2 Hand Combative course conducted by Luke Air Force Base and the U.S. Marine Corps personnel stationed at Luke 6:30 to 8 p.m. April 9 through May 11 at the Luke Fitness Center. Commander approval is required. For more information, call (623) 856-4259.

Bunny hop fun run

The bunny hop 5k fun run is 7 a.m. April 6 in front of the 944th Fighter Wing building. Prizes, trophies and refreshments are included. For more information, call (623) 856-6241.

Pitch, hit and run

A MLB pitch, hit and run competition is at 6 p.m. April 13 at Mark Grace ball field for children, ages 7 to 14. The event is free and participants must register in advance. For more information, call (623) 856-6225.

Rent-a-lane Sundays

Families and groups can rent a lane from noon to 4 p.m. $10 for one hour of bowling and $15 for two hours at Thunderbolt Lanes. For more information, call (623) 856-6529.

Dorm key bowling

Discount bowling for dorm residents is 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays and 5 to 7 p.m. Sundays. Show your dorm key and receive the first game for $1.50, second for $1, third game for 50 cents and the fourth game is free. Shoe rental is $1.50. Bring three friends and your games are free. Spring Over-30 B-ball

The spring over-30 basketball tournament is April 16 through 26. Interested squadrons must submit a letter-of-intent to Kevin Bruaw by April 6, provide any mission-related circumstances that prohibit the squadron from playing the full tournament and a player roster. Games are held 3 to 4 p.m. weekdays. If a squadron coach is unable to attend, another representative must attend  the mandatory coaches meeting is 2:30 p.m. April 12 at the fitness center.For more information, call Bruaw at (623) 856-6241.

Youth golf clinic

A youth golf clinic is 9 to 10:30 a.m. the first and third Saturday of the month. The cost is $15 per session or $20 for two sessions. For more information or to sign up, call Ed Wieczkiewicz, instructor, at (602) 363-0397.

Aerobics

A variety of cycling and group fitness classes are held at assorted times from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Saturdays in Bldg. 700. For more information, go to www.lukeevents.com/lukefitness.html.
