The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents March 16 through 22:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for two moving violations.
Traffic-related incidents
March 19: Security forces responded to a minor vehicle accident in Bldg. 339. There were no injuries.
March 20: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident in Bldg. 1223. There were no injuries.
March 20: Security forces responded to a minor vehicle accident and hit and run at Bldg. 1150. There were no injuries.
March 21: Security forces responded to a report of a major vehicle accident near Bldg. 636. One active-duty member was transported to West Valley Hospital.
Emergency responses
March 16: Security forces responded to a report of a 1-year-old locked inside a house in housing. The residence was unlocked and the child was reunited with the parents. There were no injuries.
March 16: Security forces responded to a medical emergency in Bldg. 788. An individual was transported to West Valley Hospital.
March 17: Security forces responded to a medical emergency at Bldg. 586. An individual was treated on scene and released.
March 21: Security forces responded to a 911 hang-up call in Bldg. 317. Patrols responded and conducted a sweep with negative findings.
Nonemergency responses
March 16: Security forces responded to a Wants and Warrants hit in Bldg. 897. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office assumed control.
March 16: Security forces responded to a report of damage to government property in Bldg. 300.
March 17: Security forces responded to a noise complaint in housing. The individuals were briefed on base quiet hours.
March 19: Security forces and firefighters responded a report of a natural gas odor in housing. Firefighters determined the odor to be caused by a faulty stove.
March 19: Security forces responded to a report of unauthorized photography at Bldg. 1010. Patrols responded, briefed the violator on proper photography procedures and deleted the photos from the camera.
March 21: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property in Bldg. 930.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to four alarm activations on base.
Tip of the week
Plan in advance for special functions and events held on base. Base entry lists are required to be submitted seven days prior to an event to Police Services located in Bldg. 179.
