Goals: Obtain a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology, graduate from medical school and get accepted into a residency program in Seattle

Greatest feat: Quitting smoking

Off-duty interests: Studying, volunteering at local hospitals, reading, playing Call of Duty

Carlos Messer Jr., commander. “As a member of the communication focal point, he reviews and ensures up-to-the-minute updates for $85 million worth of communications equipment.
