56th Fighter Wing Legal

The following is a list of Articles 15 and administrative actions issued at Luke Air Force Base in March.

Courts-Martial

A senior airman was found guilty of four specifications of Article 92, violation of a general regulation for use and possession of spice and bath salts. The member received a sentence of confinement for 15 days, reduction in grade to E-1, 15 days hard labor without confinement and a reprimand.

An airman first class was found guilty of Article 86, failure to go; five specifications of Article 92, violation of a general regulation for use and possession of spice and violation of Article 111, reckless driving. The member received a sentence of confinement for six months, reduction in grade to E-1 and forfeiture of $1,000 pay per month for six months.

56th Maintenance Group

Article 15s

A senior airman received an Article 15 for using spice. The member received a reduction in grade to E-2, suspended forfeiture of $835 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

A senior airman received an Article 15 for using spice. The member received a reduction in grade to E-3, suspended forfeiture of $990 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

A senior airman received an Article 15 for using spice. The member received a reduction in grade to E-3, suspended forfeiture of $990 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

A senior airman received an Article 15 for using spice. The member received a reduction in grade to E-3, suspended forfeiture of $990 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

A senior airman received an Article 15 for driving while intoxicated. The member received a reduction in grade to E-3, suspended forfeiture of $990 pay for one month and a reprimand.

A senior airman received an Article 15 for misuse of a government travel card. The member received a suspended forfeiture of $1,133 pay per month for two months, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

Administrative demotions 

A staff sergeant was demoted to senior airman after three fitness failures.

56th Medical Group

Article 15

A senior airman received an Article 15 for violating a no-contact order. The member received a suspended reduction to E-3, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

56th Fighter Wing

Article 15s

A technical sergeant received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty and making a false official statement. The member received a suspended reduction in grade to E-5, 10 days extra duty and a reprimand.

An airman first class received an Article 15 for using spice. The member received a reduction in grade to E-2, suspended forfeiture of $835 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

56th Mission Support Group

Administrative demotion

A staff sergeant was demoted to senior airman for driving while intoxicated.

Article 15 punishments for similar offenses may vary from case to case based on the circumstances of the offense and such factors as an offender’s age, military and disciplinary record, financial condition and suitability for continued service. Administrative demotions are based on the member’s entire military record and ability to overcome personal deficiencies. To ensure fair administration of justice throughout the Luke community, the legal office reviews all cases.
