24/7 domestic abuse hotline now at Luke

Luke Air Force Base has a new domestic abuse victim advocate available 24/7. There is no charge and the call is confidential. Individuals can call and have questions answered regarding domestic violence without disclosing identifying information about themselves or partners.

Purpose? To help serve victims and potential victims of domestic abuse.

Eligibility? Limited to active-duty members and their spouses, although other Luke personnel are eligible for limited services including safety-planning and referrals to civilian support services.

Services available? Safety planning, educating on services, locating available resources on and off base, assisting in finding shelter, filing for protective orders (military or civilian), or having a safe person with whom to talk.

Confidential? All conversations are confidential in accordance with Air Force policy.

The DAVA is a full-time member of the Family Advocacy Program and works cohesively with them to ensure that all victims are given adequate and appropriate resources and support. The DAVA’s goal is to help protect victims from further abuse or harm and to empower individuals for the future.
