The 56th Security forces Squadron handled the following incidents April 5 through 12:

 

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for 10 moving and five nonmoving violations.

 

Traffic-related incidents

April 6: Security forces responded to a report of a major vehicle accident at the intersection of Johnson Lane and Super Sabre Street. There were no injuries.

April 9: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident at Bldg. 820. There were no injuries.

April 10: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident at Bldg. 545. There were no injuries.

April 12: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident on the Maj. Troy Gilbert Bridge. There were no injuries.

 

Emergency responses

April 6: Security forces responded to a report a medical emergency at Bldg. 985. The patient was treated and released on scene.

April 10: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency in housing. The patient was transported to Banner Estrella Hospital.

April 11: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency in housing. The patient was transported to Banner Estrella Hospital.

April 12: Security forces and firefighters responded to a fire alarm in Bldg. 1150. Patrols responded and assisted with traffic control.

 

Nonemergency responses

April 5: Security forces responded to a report of two individuals trespassing on the installation in Ocotillo housing. An immediate debarment order was issued for two years. Glendale police assumed control.

April 5: Security forces responded to a noise complaint in Bldg. 542. Patrols responded and briefed individuals on base quiet hours.

April 10: Security forces responded to a warrant hit at Bldg. 897. Glendale police assumed control.

April 12: Security forces responded to a report of 20 live 7.62mm AK-47 rounds found at the intersection of Jerstad Lane and Mustang Street. Patrols responded, collected the rounds and presented them to munitions for proper disposal.

April 12: Security forces responded to a report of 20 live 7.62mm AK-47 rounds found at the Airfield Service Road adjacent to Bldg. 431. Patrols responded, collected the rounds and presented them to munitions for proper disposal.

 

Tip of the week:
