Tickets
Security forces issued citations for nine moving and one nonmoving violations.
Traffic-related incidentsÂ
April 20: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident at Bldg. 1130. There were no injuries.
April 20: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident at the intersection of Super Sabre Street and Johnson Lane. There were no injuries.
April 24: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident at Bldg. 840. There were no injuries.
April 25: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident at North Gate. There were no injuries.
Emergency responses
April 22: Security forces responded to report of a dog left unattended in a vehicle at Bldg. 1541. Patrols responded, made contact with the owner and cited them.
April 24: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency at Bldg. 422. The individuals were treated and released.
April 24: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency in housing. The individual refused transportation.
April 25: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency at the softball fields. The individual was transported to West Valley Hospital.
Nonemergency responsesÂ
April 20: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property at Bldg. 820.
April 21: Security forces responded to a warrant hit at South Gate. The sheriff’s department chose not to extradite. The individual was denied entry and escorted off the installation.
April 21: Security forces responded to two reports of shoplifting at Bldg. 1540 involving dependents. Glendale police assumed control.
April 21: Security forces responded to a noise complaint in housing. Patrols responded and briefed an individual on base quiet hours.
April 24: Security forces responded to a report from an individual at Bldg. 1124 who witnessed an individual jumping the wall. Patrols conducted a sweep of the area with negative findings.
April 24: Security forces responded to two reports of gunshots in housing. Patrols and Glendale police responded with negative findings.
April 25: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at Bldg. 1540 involving a dependent. Glendale police assumed control.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to five alarm activations on base.
Tip of the week
Leaving an animal unattended and confined in a motor vehicle is a Class 1 misdemeanor in Arizona and reasonable force may be used to open a vehicle to rescue the animal.
