The following is a list of Articles 15 and administrative actions issued at Luke Air Force Base in April

Courts-Martial

A Senior Airman was found guilty of two specifications of Article 92, violation of General Regulation for use and possession of Spice. The member received a sentence of confinement for 60 days, reduction in grade to E-2, forfeiture of $700 pay per month for two months and hard labor without confinement for 30 days.

 

56th Maintenance Group

Articles 15

An airman first class received an Article 15 for violation of a general order and making false official statements. The member received a suspended reduction to E-2, 10 days extra duty and a Reprimand.

Administrative Demotions 

An airman first class was demoted to airman for DUI.

 

56th Medical Group

Administrative Demotions

A senior airman was demoted to airman first class after three fitness failures.

 

56th Fighter Wing

Articles 15

A first lieutenant received an Article 15 for failure to obey a lawful order. The member received forfeitures of $2,000 a month for two months, but suspended a portion of the forfeitures ($1,000 a month for two months) for six months. The member also received 30 days restriction and a reprimand.

A senior airman received an Article 15 for disrespecting an NCO, communicating threats, and indecent language. The member received a reduction to E-3, suspended reduction to E-2, suspended forfeitures of pay of $835 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

 

56th Mission Support Group

Articles 15

A staff sergeant received an Article 15 for adultery. The member received reduction to E-4 and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty, providing alcohol to a minor. The member received reduction to E-4 and a reprimand.

A senior airman received an Article 15 for failure to go, DUI, and drunk on duty. The member received a reduction to E-3, suspended reduction to E-2, forfeitures of pay of $500 pay per month for two months, 10 days extra duty, and a reprimand.

An airman first class received an Article 15 for failure to go, DUI and drunk on duty. The member received a reduction to E-2, suspended reduction to E-1, forfeitures of pay of $745 pay per month for two months, 10 days extra duty and a reprimand.

 

Article 15 punishments for similar offenses may vary from case to case based on the circumstances of the offense and such factors as an offender’s age, military and disciplinary record, financial condition, and suitability for continued service. Administrative demotions are based on the member’s entire military record and ability to overcome their deficiencies. To ensure fair administration of justice throughout the Luke community, the legal office reviews all cases.
