The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents June 1 through 7:

 

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for six moving and three nonmoving violations.

 

Traffic-related incidents

June 1: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident on the perimeter road near Bldg. 1381. There were no injuries.

June 1: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident at Bldg. 933. There were no injuries.

June 3: Security forces responded to a report of a major vehicle accident at the intersection of Bong Lane and Mustang Street. There were no injuries.

June 4: Security forces responded to a report of an individual driving erratically at Lightning Gate. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office took control.

June 5: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident at Kachina Gate. The individual refused medical attention.

June 6: Security forces responded to a report of a major vehicle accident at Bldg. 948. There were no injuries.

 

Emergency responses

June 2: Security forces responded to a report of a 911 hang-up in housing. Patrols made contact with an individual who said a child had accidentally dialed 911.

June 2: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency in housing. An individual was transported to West Valley Hospital.

June 5: Security forces responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in housing. The first sergeant took control.

 

Nonemergency responses

June 3: Security forces responded to a request for a health and welfare check in Bldg. 640. Patrols made contact with an individual and terminated the response.

June 6: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property in Bldg. 985.

 

Alarm activations

Security forces responded to one alarm activation on base.

 

Tip of the week 

Vehicle accidents are on the rise. Drivers should avoid distractions while behind the wheel and pay attention to surroundings. Use a hands-free device when talking on a cell phone.
