The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents June 8 through 14:

 

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for 11 moving and one nonmoving violations.

 

Traffic-related incidents

June 11: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident near Bldg. 1223. There were no injuries.

June 11: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident at Bldg. 897. There were no injuries.

June 12: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident in the parking lot next to Bldg. 1550. There were no injuries.

 

Emergency responses

June 8: Security forces responded to a report of a live flare detonation outside of base operations.

June 9: Security forces responded to a report of a sexual assault. Air Force Office of Special Investigations took control.

June 10: Security forces responded to a report of a fire alarm activation at Bldg. 133. The cause of the alarm was unknown.

June 11: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency at Bldg. 961. An individual was transported to West Valley Hospital.

June 14: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency on Litchfield Rd. An individual was treated and released.

 

Nonemergency responses

June 8: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property at Bldg. 931.

 

Alarm activations

Security forces responded to a report of three alarm activations on base.

 

Tip of the week

Avoid leaving pets or children in a vehicle whether or not it’s running. With an outside temperature of 90 degrees, the interior temperature of the vehicle can reach in excess of 110 degrees in minutes.
