FSS offers summer of fun

Retired Senior Master Sgt. Len Sandell practices June 12 at the Falcon Dunes Golf Course driving range. Falcon Dunes offers an 18-hole course, driving range and lessons for children and adults starting at $35 for adults and $20 for children ages 6 through 17. The club also offers club rentals, a pro shop and restaurant. The golf course is open year-round with fees in the summer starting at $13 for junior enlisted to $24.50 for civilian guests. Tee times for the course begin at 6 a.m.

Isaac Vaden, 6, slides into Silver Wings Pool June 12 at Luke Air Force Base. The pool offers swim and scuba diving lessons and events throughout the summer months. The pool opens at 6 a.m. through August for lap swimming.

Senior Airmen Brandon Mabray and Michael Mitchell, 56th Component Maintenance Squadron fuels mechanics, lift weights in the Combat PT Center.

Sher Kennedy, Lorin MacDonald and Ellyn Sholtz, 56th Force Support Squadron lifeguards, work out in the combat PT center. The Luke Air Force Base Bryant Fitness Center offers personal trainers, state-of-the-art fitness equipment and sports teams for exercise and recreation. The fitness center is open from 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. daily.
