Commander’s comments: “Airman Darby exudes unparalleled enthusiasm as she provides continued and critical, agile mission support through food operations,” said Lt. Col. Tim Farr, 56th FSS commander. “She is a clear standout amongst her peers. Darby is a phenomenal Airman. She arrived from tech school eager to learn the job and hasn’t stopped in the three-and-a-half years that she’s been here. She recently coordinated an impressive food show at the Ray V. Hensman Dining Facility that 110 base Airmen attended. Currently she oversees a food inventory of $636,000 that feeds approximately 312,000 personnel annually.”
