Scuba diving classes

Two-day scuba diving classes will be held Saturday and Sunday, and Sept. 1 and 2 at Silver Wings Pool. The cost is $99 and includes all instruction materials and equipment. For more information or to sign up, call (623) 856-7120.

 

Youth dance class

A youth dance class teaching hip-hop, stepping and the latest in fitness trends is 1 to 4 p.m. July 23 through 27 for youth program members, ages 9 to 15, at the youth center. The cost is $10 a person. For more information, call (623) 856-7470.

 

UFC Fight Night

UFC fight night is live on pay-per-view July 21 at Club Five Six. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., preliminary bouts are 7 p.m. and the main event is 9 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, call (623) 856-6446.

 

Friday family fun

Thunderbolt Lanes is offering Friday family fun night from 4 to 8 p.m. every Friday for $35 per family of four. Two hours of bowling, shoe rental, two adult meals and two kid’s meals are included. For more information, call (623) 856-6529.

 

Body competition

A men’s bodybuilding and women’s physique, figure and bikini competition is Aug. 18 at the Luke Air Force Base Theater. Weigh-ins are 11 a.m., preliminary round is 1 p.m. and the final competition is 5 p.m. The cost to compete is $40 per military member and $50 per nonmilitary.
