“At the highest level, prayer not only is a supplication for strength and guidance, but also becomes an affirmation of life and thus a reverent praise of God.†– Walt Disney
It was this week in 1955 that Disneyland opened in California. Walt Disney was an amazing man who also had a deeply religious side. His father was a deacon in their local church and Walt himself was named its pastor. Many of Walt’s works were based upon morals he learned in church.
When we go to God in prayer, we automatically recognize that we are not the answer to our problems. We put ourselves in a place of supposition that confirms our destiny is not ours alone. There is a divine being, a loving and just God, that is worthy of praise. The simple act of prayer on our own behalf not only testifies of our humility but may just be answered in ways that can only point to our Heavenly Father.
