Fingernails are not to exceed ¼-inch in length past the tip of the finger. They are not to interfere with duty performance or hinder proper fit of prescribed safety equipment or uniform items. Nail polish will be a single color that complements the skin tone noting bright red, orange, purple, black or other extreme colors, to include designs, are not authorized.
