The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents July 6 through 12:

 

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for four moving and three nonmoving violations.

 

Emergency responses

July 9: Security forces responded to a medical emergency at Bldg. 1540. The patient was transported to West Valley Hospital.

July 10: Security forces responded to a 911 hang up in housing. Individual reported the U.S. Attorney General said to call and hung up the phone. Patrols responded along with personnel, who conducted a mental health evaluation.

 

Nonemergency responses

July 6: Security forces responded to a report of a verbal altercation in housing. The situation was turned over to the respective first sergeants.

July 8: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at Bldg. 1540 involving a juvenile. Glendale police took control.

July 9: Security forces responded to a report of a verbal altercation in housing. The situation was turned over to the respective first sergeants.

July 11: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property at Bldg. 820.

July 12: Security forces responded to a report of damage to government property at Bldg. 968.

July 12: Security forces responded to a noise complaint in housing. The individuals were briefed on base quiet hours.

 

Alarm activations

Security forces responded to five alarm activations on base.

 

Tip of the week

When approaching the gate, identification card holders are to have their ID card outs and ready to give to the entry controller to help expedite traffic flow.
