There is no question God has blessed this great nation. We have been used as His instrument to carry out His purposes; this was alluded to in the quote above as part of FDR’s fourth inaugural address in January 1945. Other countries may say they have “truth,” but do not demonstrate so by the taking away of freedom from their own people. Yes, God Almighty has blessed America with “stout hearts and strong arms,” but this is because we adhered to the faith given to us. Whenever the time comes that we as a nation lose faith in God, there also, is when we will lose our hearts and our arms — and most sadly, others in the world will lose hope as well.
