Inspirations: My father who dedicated 23 years to the Army and taught me nothing is beyond my reach, and my brother, also Army, inspired me to bounce back after adversity

Goals: Get commissioned and become a pilot, try my hardest to provide a secure life for my family

Self-description: Takes his job and career seriously

Off-duty interests: Intramural sports, electronics, wood working, acoustic guitar

Commander’s comments: “Airman McCloud is hard-charging, motivated and excellent at all he does,” said Lt. Col. Sean Slaughter, 607th ACS commander. “Always the first to volunteer for tasks, his dedication directly contributes to the success of our mission. As a member of the radio shop, he was certified in climbing, saving the Air Force thousands in annual temporary duty costs. He is an active Honor Guard member, earning the coveted trainer position and completing more than 100 details. He is amongst the best, and we are lucky to have him.”
