Inspirations: Without my family, I probably never would have considered this path

Goals: Obtain a Community College of the Air Force degree this year and retire from the Air Force and become a high school baseball coach

Greatest feat: The birth of my son, Connor

Self-description: Hard working, outgoing, devoted husband and father

Famous last words: “It is amazing what you can accomplish when you don’t care who gets the credit.”

Off-duty interests: Watching baseball and football, being with friends and outdoor activities

Commander’s comments: Airman Carr epitomizes what it means to be an Airman in today’s Air Force,” said Lt. Col. Chad BonDurant, 56th CES commander. “His devotion to duty and selfless service are exemplary. He comes to work with a positive attitude and a contagious eagerness to succeed. As a pest management professional, he captures and eradicates potential threats to our people and mission — he literally slays dragons.
