Youth shine …


Cliff McConigle, gymnastics instructor, assists Sofia Barajas, 12, daughter of Master Sgt. Elena Barajas, 56th Security Forces Squadron information protection chief, with a backward hand spring at a gymnastics demonstration held during the Lights on After School open house at the Luke Air Force Base Youth Center. The open house featured the services, classes and programs offered at the center.

 

Turkey shoot

Retiree lunch and bowl

Turkey trot fun run

The turkey trot 5k fun run is 7 a.m. at the 944th Fighter Wing headquarters, Bldg. 988. Trophies, turkey drawings and refreshments are included. For more information, call (623) 856-6241.

Grand Canyon Day Trip

The Luke Air Force Base Bryant Fitness Center will feature a day trip to Grand Canyon Nov. 17. The cost is $40 per person. Trip includes transportation and park entry fee. Space is limited. For more information, call (623) 856-6267.
