Airman receives medal


 

Brig. Gen. Mike Rothstein, 56th Fighter Wing commander, presents Staff Sgt. Benjamin Lemus, 56th Medical Group optometry technician, with an Achievement Medal Nov. 2 at Luke Air Force Base. During the 2012 Men’s Health Expo, Lemus’ observations and early surgical intervention recommended for a patient helped save the patient’s vision. This was Rothstein’s first on-the-spot achievement recognition.
