The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Nov. 2 through 8:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for 12 moving and five nonmoving violations.
Traffic-related Incidents
Nov. 2: Security forces assisted Glendale police with a major vehicle accident off base.
Nov. 5: Security forces responded to a minor vehicle accident at the inbound lane of the South Gate. There were no injuries.
Nov. 5: Security forces responded to a minor vehicle accident at the intersection of Super Sabre Street and Fighter Country Avenue. There were no injuries.
Nov. 6: Security forces responded to a minor vehicle accident on the flightline. No aircraft were involved and there were no injuries.
Nov. 8: Security forces responded to a major vehicle accident at the perimeter wall at the intersection of Litchfield Road and Glendale Avenue. A patient was transported to the hospital.
Emergency responses
Nov. 8: Security forces responded to a medical emergency at Kachina Gate. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Nonemergency responses
Nov. 5: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property at Bldg. 938. The incident is currently under investigation.
Nov. 7: Security forces responded to a warrant hit at the South Gate Visitor Center. Glendale police took control.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to nine alarm activations on base.
Tip of the week
Security forces will no longer unlock locked vehicles for individuals unless there is an emergency. The individual must call a locksmith for assistance.
