Tip of the week

Every year suicide claims more lives of Arizonans than homicide, yet most suicides are preventable. When dealing with Airmen in distress use the PRESS acronym. Prepare — connect with your people, Recognize — identify personnel in distress, Engage — intervene with distressed Airmen, Send — refer personnel to the appropriate helping agency, Sustain – follow-up regularly until the problem is resolved.
