The 56th Security forces Squadron handled the following incidents Jan. 25 through 31:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for 14 moving and two nonmoving violations.
Traffic-related incidents
Jan. 29: Security forces responded to a minor vehicle accident adjacent to Bldg. 1245. There were no injuries.
Jan. 29: Security forces responded to a minor vehicle accident adjacent to Bldg. 1514. There were no injuries.
Jan. 30: Security forces responded to a minor vehicle accident adjacent to Bldg. 1119. There were no injuries.
Jan. 31: Security forces responded to a major vehicle accident at the perimeter fence adjacent to Ocotillo Gate. Glendale police took control. There were no injuries.
Nonemergency responses
Jan. 25: Security forces responded to warrant hits on two individuals at the South Gate. Glendale police took control.
Jan. 26: Security forces was notified of an active-duty member arrested for driving under the influence by Surprise police. The Individual’s unit was notified.
Jan. 26: Security forces responded to a report of damage to government property at Bldg. 634. The incident is under investigation.
Jan. 27: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property at the parking lot of Bldg. 640. The incident is under investigation.
Jan. 28: Security forces responded to a warrant hit from Colorado at the South Gate. Local authorities declined to respond. The subject was denied entry.
Jan. 28: Security forces responded to a noise complaint in base housing. The subject was briefed on base quiet hours.
Jan. 28: Security forces responded to a report of domestic assault. Two individuals were apprehended.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to two alarm activations on base.
Tip of the week
Avoid playing vehicle stereo systems at a volume that prohibits the vehicle operator from hearing approaching emergency vehicles or other warning devices. Stereo devices will not be played at such a volume that can be heard by an individual at the distance of 50 feet or more. Doing so may require abatement by law enforcement personnel to include confiscation of equipment.
