Family: Father, Chris; mom, Luann; and brother, Daulton

Inspirations: Uncle Larry Bilyeau who served three tours in Vietnam

Goals: Pursuing a Community College of the Air Force degree, seeking a career with the Federal Aviation Administration

Greatest feat: Living to see the age of 19

Self-description: Professional, sophisticated, laidback, compassionate and enjoy life

Famous last words: “This is a sick, twisted world. Hopefully the next one is better.”

Off-duty interests: Basketball, reading, hiking, cars, music, running

Commander’s comments: “I expected great things from Josh the first day we were introduced,” said Lt. Col. Zachary Warakomski, 56th CS commander. “He expresses a very professional demeanor and a winner’s attitude. Josh maintains air traffic control radios and navigational aids in direct support of the flying mission, and he understands the importance and value of his work. Despite being a young Airman, he truly gets it. He tackles issues with a sense of urgency and does not rest until he has resolution. He’s a natural leader and rallies those around him. The sky is the limit for this young man.”
