The train’s engine goes to the opposite end of the train at the midway point of the tour to return to the station. The trip is approximately four hours long, and the train passes through a 680-foot manmade tunnel. The tunnel was blasted through solid limestone and is supported by timbers for about 30 feet at the north end.
