Commander’s comments: “Staff sergeant Jones is one of my best NCOs and an outstanding AETC formal training instructor,” said Lt. Col. Matt Liljenstolpe, 56th TRS commander. “He developed a rigorous training program for a student who fell behind due to illness. Thanks to his quick thinking, the student was able to continue in the course. His efforts saved the Air Force training costs and the home unit maintained its combat resources to deploy.”
