It was no April Fool’s Day joke for Jim Johnston Saturday at the Maryvale Golf Course. Jim used a six-iron to record a hole-in-one on Maryvale’s 144-yard 11th hole. It was the first ace for the Luke staff sergeant, who works in base graphics. Just two days earlier, Jim came within 14 inches of Maryvale’s fourth hole. (U.S. Air Force Photo by A1C Jerry Lev)
