Commander’s comments: “Senior Airman Hansen has made a tremendous impact to the dental squadron, medical group and fighter wing,” said Col. Larry Evans, 56th DS commander. “She has aided in the care of more than 560 Thunderbolts and 1,000 clinical procedures, services worth roughly $198,000. She oversees the tracking of 38 implant patients’ treatment progress, and briefed children during National Children’s Dental Health Month on the importance of good oral hygiene and proper diet. She is an active member of MDG’s Rising 4 and Entertainment and Morale Association, and was the MDG team captain for the Race for the Cure event. Airman Hansen is the LEAD secretary involved in resolving Airmen’s issues, enhancing morale and performs all her duties with pride, commitment and excellence.”
