Commander’s comments: “Airman Garwood is a motivated young Airman focused on all the right things, finishing his CDCs and starting on his CCAF,” said Lt. Col. James Blackman, 56th CMS commander. “His sights and goals are set very high; he is looking forward to competing for BTZ and making staff sergeant first chance he gets. He’s also an active supporter of squadron and base functions; he’s started his career off just right.”
