Hometown: Oak Harbor, Wash.

Years in service: Four

Education: Pursuing a Community College of the Air Force degree in information management from Rio Salado Community College

Previous assignments: Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea

Inspirations: My parents taught me that nothing is free and to work hard; you earn what you get in life

Goals: Get promoted, complete my CCAF degree and become a teacher

Greatest feat: Volunteering at an orphanage in Gunsan City, ROK

Famous last words: “It is what it is,” and “Your work is your signature.”

Off-duty interests: Photography, coaching youth soccer and staying active

Commander’s comments: “Senior Airman Celestino is an inspiration and an example of what we should all strive to be,” said Lt. Col. Sean Slaughter, 607th ACS commander. “Cool and calm under pressure, she never shows signs of stress. Even on days she’s over-tasked, her section undermanned, and facing short deadlines, she prioritizes and gets the job done well and on time with a smile and pleasant professionalism. She cares about the unit, mission, people and spreading goodness and happiness. Whether coaching youth soccer, volunteering, leading squadron physical training, leading as president of the junior enlisted council, or spearheading events for the Booster Club, she quietly gives of herself, for the betterment of others. The 607th and Luke Air Force Base are lucky to have this outstanding Thunderbolt in our organization!”
