Inspirations: My mom taught me you can go a long way in life if you give it your all and give thanks to those who helped along the way

Goals: Complete my degree, make technical sergeant and get selected for a single-manned contracting duty position overseas

Famous last words: “Not a problem.”

Off-duty interests: Hiking, playing fetch with my dogs, Dozer and Wylie, and horseback riding.

Commander’s comments: “As a recent retrainee, Sergeant Dickerson has excelled in her new field – contracting,” said Maj. Quoc-Nam Nguyen, 56th CONS. “She volunteered to take over the planning/hosting of the 56th Contracting Squadron’s Small Business Outreach event. Her attention-to-detail and quick learning capabilities enabled her to host the largest 56th CONS small business outreach event providing vital information to more than 150 attendees in December 2012. In addition, Sergeant Dickerson quickly terminated open house contracts when it was canceled and negotiated termination fees resulting in a $59,472 savings.
