The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents March 29 through April 4:

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for 17 moving and seven nonmoving violations.

Traffic-related incidents

April 9: Security forces assisted with a major vehicle accident off base at Litchfield Road and Camelback Road.

April 10: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident adjacent to Bldg. 914. There were no injuries.

Nonemergency responses

April 7: Security forces responded to a report of a verbal altercation in a dorm. Both subjects’ first sergeants responded and assumed control of the situation.

April 7: Security forces responded to assist in removing an unauthorized individual from base housing. The individual was briefed and removed.

April 8: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property at the base gym. The incident is under investigation.

April 8: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property at the base post office. The incident is under investigation.

April 11: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property at the commissary parking lot. The incident is under investigation.

Alarm activations

Security forces responded to four alarm activations on base.

Tip of the week

Households should be weapons safe. Storing and locking weapons play a vital role in protecting family members and others in the home.
