STREET BEAT

The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents April 19 through April 25:

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for 20 moving and six nonmoving violations.

Traffic-related incidents

April 20: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident in base housing. There were no injuries.

April 24: Security forces responded to a report of a major vehicle accident adjacent to Bldg. 700. The patient experienced minor injuries and declined further medical attention.

Nonemergency responses

April 22: Security forces responded to a report of vandalism to private property. The incident is currently under investigation.

April 22: Security forces responded to a report of a minor communicating a threat. Glendale police responded and took control.

April 23: Security forces responded to a report of unauthorized flightline photography. Individuals were briefed on base policies and procedures regarding flightline photography and were instructed to delete the photos.

Alarm activations

Security forces responded to three alarm activations on base.

Tip of the week

Summer and the swimming season are almost here. Remember to practice “touch supervision” swimming safety by keeping children within an arm’s reach at all times. It’s a good idea to enroll children in swimming lessons and never swim alone. Even good swimmers need a wingman.
