STREET BEAT

The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents April 26 through May 2:

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for 25 moving and eight nonmoving violations.

Traffic-related incidents

April 29: Security forces responded to a report of a major vehicle accident on the Maj. Troy Gilbert Memorial Bridge. A patient was transported to West Valley Hospital.

April 30: Security forces assisted Glendale police with traffic control for a vehicle accident outside Kachina Gate.

Emergency responses

May 2: Security forces responded to a report of an animal bite in base housing. Maricopa County Animal Control responded and took control.

Nonemergency responses

April 29: Security forces responded to a report of simple assault at the base exchange. Glendale police took control.

Alarm activations

Security forces responded to eight alarm activations on base.

Tip of the week

To avoid investigation by security forces, obtain a flightline photo pass through 56th Maintenance Group Maintenance Operations Center prior to taking photos within the restricted area. Photography of the flightline from outside the restricted area is not authorized.
