Lady Thunderbolts fall short in semifinals, 41-40

Throw-back retro 5k run

The Luke Air Force Base Fitness Center is featuring a throw-back retro 5k fun run starting at 6:30 a.m. June 7 at the 944th Fighter Wing, Bldg. 988. Wear gear from “back in the day.” Prizes, trophies and refreshments are included. For more information, call (623) 856-6241.

SNCO golf tourney

The senior NCO recognition golf tournament is 7:30 a.m. June 7 at Flacon Dunes Golf Course. Registration is $40 and includes green fees, golf cart, lunch and practice time on the driving range. To register or for more information, call Tech. Sgt. Jaycee Roman at (623) 856-2456.

World Wide Bowling

Warrior training

Warrior training classes are every 45 minutes continuously from 6 to 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Combat Fitness Center. For more information, call (623) 856-6241.

Silver Wings Pool

Silver Wings Pool is closed for 2013. As an alternative, consider using the Northwest Valley YMCA pool near the intersection of Litchfield and Thomas roads or Surprise Aquatics Center on N. Bullard Avenue. For more information, call Luke Air Force Base Outdoor Recreation at (623) 856-6267.
