Commander’s comments: “Staff Sgt. Sanchez has made an amazing impact on my squadron after having been here only a few months,” said Lt. Col. Shamsher Mann, 62nd FS commander. “She’s in a master sergeant’s job. It’s due to the faith I have in her maturity, competence and leadership that I allowed a staff sergeant to fill this critical billet. She is responsible for ensuring my pilots meet daily requirements before flying. She’s responsible for documenting pilot training required for maintaining currency and proficiency. She supervises three Airmen along with additional duties and maintains an excellent physical fitness score, brings a positive can-do attitude to the squadron and leads by example.”
