Street Beat – July 19, 2013

The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following situations July 4 through 11.

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for 21 moving and three nonmoving violations.

Traffic-related incidents

July 11: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident adjacent to Bldg 400. There were no injuries.

Emergency responses

July 8: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency on the flightline. A patient was transported to West Valley Hospital.

Nonemergency responses

July 5: Security forces responded to a report of someone driving under the influence at Lightning Gate. The subject was apprehended and released to the unit first sergeant.

July 8: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at the base exchange. Glendale police arrived and took control.

July 9: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at the base exchange. Glendale police arrived and took control.

July 11: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at the base exchange. Glendale police arrived and took control.

July 12: Security forces responded to a wants and warrants hit at South Gate Visitor Center. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office responded and took control.

Alarm activations

Security forces responded to five alarm activations on base.

Tip of the week

While out and about, remember the Air Force 0-0-1-3 policy: Zero underage drinking, zero driving under the influence, one drink per hour and no more than three drinks per night.

Lightening-within-five

Lightning over Luke …
