Weapons director evaluations NCO-in-charge

TBOLTW-SSgt
Hometown: Buena Park, Calif.

Years in service: Eight

Family: Wife, Jessica; children, Gwendolyn, 6, Gavin, 2, and Mila, 6 months

Education: Community College of the Air Force degree in computer and information
science

Previous assignments: Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz.; Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany

Goals: Become a senior NCO, get a bachelor’s degree; keep doing what I love to do

Famous last words: “That’s rich!”

Off-duty interests: Family, traveling and mixed martial arts

Commander’s comments: “Sergeant Saldana is a standout command and control professional and stellar NCO,” said Lt. Col. Charles Jones, 607th ACS commander. “We can count on him for superb results. He is our only triple-qualified instructor/evaluator, holding qualifications in three of five crew positions. He earned ‘exceptionally qualified,’ ratings for two of his three positions, which is unheard of on multiple qualifications. He is our go-to expert and has demonstrated dedication to the mission, instructing 233 training events and completing 932 academic hours this year. He works hard to support the mission with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.”
