Goals: Get an organizational management degree, open my own business

Commander’s comments: “Sergeant Giles is a highly motivated professional instructor with endless compassion for his students, peers and family,” said Maj. Richard Boatman, 372nd TRS, Det. 12 commander. “In the past year, he’s compiled 1,183 instructional hours and graduated 60 F-16 armament specialists. He serves as the morale coordinator and completed five classes this year toward a bachelor’s degree at Ashford College. He coaches youth sports and works with charities to raise funds for underprivileged children. He’s Det. 12’s AFAF representative and has inspired many to contribute to the cause. He is a shining example of integrity first, service before self and excellence in all we do.”
