Brig. Gen. Edward Maxwell, Arizona Air National Guard commander, holds the 107th Air Control Squadron flag Sept. 30 as Maj. Trey Shewbert, 107th ACS outgoing commander, slides the cover over the top of the flag, signaling the inactivation of the unit at Luke Air Force Base. The 107th ACS provided command and control for thousands of sorties flown each year by the 56th and 162nd fighter wings. The unit relocated to Luke in 2009.
