Tip of the week

Prescription drug abuse is on the rise in the country and Luke Air Force Base. In many cases prescription pain relievers were obtained for nonmedical use by a friend or relative. Anger and denial are often the reaction to intervention. Be a good wingman, and assist the individual in seeking professional help. Properly dispose of unused prescriptions by returning them to a pharmacy or to local law enforcement.
