Commander’s comments: “Airman Pant hit the ground running as a new Dragonslayer striving to work hard and set the bar for his peers to follow,” said Lt. Col. Kenneth Herndon, 56th CES commander. “In his short time in the Air Force family, he has embedded the core values and epitomizes the Airman’s Creed. On top of learning his duties as an operations management apprentice, he was handpicked to test a $1.4 billion initiative to modernize the Air Force’s Airfield Damage Repair program. In addition, his superb time management skills allow him to volunteer off base for unit advisory council events and support Arizona’s Stand Down for Veterans program.”
