Security forces wins flag football championship

Flag football clinic

A flag football clinic for youth program members, ages 9 to 12, is 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays Oct. 23 through Nov. 27 at the youth center. Register by today. For more information, call 623-856-7470.

Turkey shoot-out tourney

The turkey shoot-out golf tournament is 8 a.m. Nov. 17 at Falcon Dunes Golf Course. The cost is $42 per club member, $47 per nonmember and $52 per guest, and includes green fees, range balls, cart, lunch and prizes. Register by Nov. 13. For more information, call 623-535-9334.

Turkey trot 5k

The turkey trot 5k fun run is 7 a.m. Nov. 22 starting at the 944th Fighter Wing, Bldg. 988. Trophies, turkey drawings and refreshments are included in this free event. For more information, call 623-856-6241.

Family campout

Outdoor recreation is featuring a family campout Nov. 15 and 16 at Fowler Park. Set-up is 4 to 6 p.m., supper is 6 p.m., games and bouncers is

6:30 p.m. and movie and s’mores is

7 p.m. Nov. 15. A pancake breakfast is 7 to

8:30 a.m. Nov. 16. Bring a tent and sleeping bags or rent a camping package for $15, which includes one large tent and four sleeping bags. Registration begins Oct. 15 and ends Nov. 12 and is limited to 150 participants. To register or for more information, call 623-856-6267.
