Close by Tolmachoff Farms gears up for Halloween

There are many places designed for children to have a good time while spending their parent’s money. Likewise, there are many places for parents to have a good time while spending their money. There are not as many places, however, that are fun for both parents and children at a relatively low cost. One of them is Tolmachoff Farms.

Harvest is in full swing with pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin coffees and seasonal décor all around. But what kind of harvest would it be without a good pumpkin patch?

For the cost of $9 per person over age two, families can enjoy a family corn maze, petting zoo, giant air-filled jumping pillow, spider web ropes, corn baths and even a bounce house on weekends. Visit their website at www.tolmachoff-farms.com to find a coupon good for $2 off per person for up to eight people, then use that saved money to send the kids on a $2 train ride.

Parents can participate in each of these activities as well, making this destination a great place for family bonding.

For those who are more adventurous and enjoy the Halloween spirit, they need only visit the farm after dark to take their chances in the haunted maze. The maze is said to have been planted over an old cemetery and is filled with “danger at every corner,” according to the website. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult and this maze is not recommended for children under 10. The cost of this scare is $16 per person, except on Halloween night, during which the price will be reduced to $10.

Whether the wholesome fun of the day or the fright-filled festivities of the night are your thing, there is something for everyone at Tolmachoff Farms.
