Melinda Santos, 56th MXG operations officer. “Upon inactivation of the 56th Maintenance Operations Squadron, there were myriad communication changes that had to happen for more than 200 accounts. She accomplished this without fail. She restructured our shared drives and ensured the on-point customer service she provides never skipped a beat. She ensured the administrative function of our operation ran smoothly. Moreover, she is a forward-thinking Airman — creating new ideas on how to operate more effectively and efficiently. She strives to do her best each and every day, and it shows.”
