Street Beat

The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Nov. 17 through Sunday:

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for 24 moving and one nonmoving violations.

Traffic-related incidents

Nov. 18: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident involving three privately owned vehicles in the Bldg. 1130 parking lot. There were no injuries.

Nov. 20: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident involving two government-owned vehicles at the Bldg. 1540 loading dock. There were no injuries.

Nov. 20: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident involving two privately owned vehicles in the Bldg. 1130 parking lot. There were no injuries.

Nov. 21: Security forces responded to a report of a minor traffic accident involving two GOVs on the west side of Bldg. 404. There were no injuries.

Emergency responses

Nov. 18: Security forces responded to a report of an unresponsive individual on Phoenix Metro Bus 6537. Medical arrived on scene to evaluate the individual, and the patient was transported to West Valley Hospital.

Nov. 25: Security forces responded to a medical emergency in Bldg. 968. The member was treated and released.

Nonemergency responses

Nov. 18: Security forces responded to a warrant hit at Lightning Gate. The warrant was for alleged domestic violence and property crimes. The affected county was notified but declined extradition. Security forces denied the individual access to the installation.

Nov. 20: Security forces responded to a warrant hit at Lightning Gate. The warrant was for contempt of court from Avondale police. Avondale police arrived and took control of the individual.

Nov. 22: Security forces responded to a report of damage to private property in the Bldg. 961 parking lot. A cactus fell onto a privately owned vehicle.

Nov. 23: Security forces responded to a warrant hit at Lightning Gate. The warrant was for failure to appear from Scottsdale police. Neither Scottsdale nor Glendale police were able to respond. Security forces denied the individual access to the installation.

Nov. 23: Security forces responded to a warrant hit at South Gate. The warrant was for failure to appear from Iredell County Sherriff’s Department in Stateville, N.C. They were notified but unable to respond. Security forces denied the individual access to the installation.

Nov. 24: A civil arrest was made in Avondale for domestic assault.

Nov. 25: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting in Bldg. 1540. Security forces issued a revocation of exchange privileges letter and Glendale police took control.

Nov. 27: Security forces responded to a report of a verbal altercation located at Bldg. 1540 between two individuals over the treatment of the owner’s dog.

Nov. 27: Security forces responded to a report of an intoxicated individual refusing to leave the Shoppette because employees refused to sell alcohol to the individual. The individual was instructed to leave and complied.

Nov. 28: Security forces and firefighters responded to a report of a fuel spill on pump 11 at the Shoppette. Approximately three gallons of fuel was spilled by the pump.

Nov. 30: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting in Bldg. 1540. Security forces issued a revocation of exchange privileges letter and the individual is barred from base for a period of two years. Glendale police took control.

Alarm activations

Security forces responded to 18 alarm activations on base.
