FROM LEFT: Lt. Col. Jason Mitchell, 56th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander, Brig. Gen. Mike Rothstein, 56th Fighter Wing commander, and Lt. Col. Michael Ebner, 61st Fighter Squadron commander, cut the ribbon Jan. 30 on the new 61st FS operations building and the 61st Aircraft Maintenance Unit building at Luke Air Force Base. The two buildings combined represent $13 million and more than six months of construction to produce LEAD Silver certified buildings capable of supporting the operations of the F-35A Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter soon to arrive at Luke.
