“Greatness occurs when your children love you, when your critics respect you and when you have peace of mind.”
~ Quincy Jones
How do you define greatness? Is it your job title, the rank on your collar or sleeve, your achievements, by winning an Olympic medal?
In the military, we are taught “bloom where you are planted.” If your job is stacking boxes, be the best box stacker. If your job is crunching numbers, be the best number cruncher, and if your job is teaching others, then be the best teacher. Strive not just to do great things but be a great person. I encourage you to let the greatness of God be reflected in your life, and be thankful for the blessings you do have – even when you think there aren’t many. Be content and when greatness does happen, do not forget there were a lot of others that helped along the way.
Blessings from Above …
