“Military Saves Week is Feb. 24 through March 1. Your financial fitness and personal readiness are critical aspects toward overall health and satisfaction. Learning good financial habits early in life strengthens the ability to capture opportunities in the future, such as financial freedom and security.

Fewer than 50 percent of Americans say they have a savings plan with specific goals, and 68 percent of military families say they feel stress from their family’s current financial condition, according to militarysavings.org. The 56th Comptroller Squadron encourages all Airmen to increase their awareness and participation in the Thrift Savings Program and Savings Deposit Program. Start saving today for a better tomorrow.”
